Tom Allison – Thomas R. Allison Construction

Tom has held his general contractors license since 1981 and received his real estate license in 1992. For the past 40 years, his wide range of construction experience has afforded him great success in the design build arena of new residential and commercial construction, remodels, and renovations. Tom grew up in the Bay Area, relocating to the Roseville/Granite Bay area in the mid 80’s. He lives in his own beautiful custom 5000 sq. ft. home with his wife of 35 years and has four children. Tom is active in the local community, having been involved in the founding of multiple non-profit organizations, including a downtown Sacramento housing, education and work experience facility to assist the homeless community. Tom is also involved in providing senior care for the elderly, with extensive experience in building and operating an assisted living facility in the Roseville area.

History

During the 1980’s, Tom focused on commercial construction, completing several million sq. ft of high-end buildouts and tenant improvements in the Northern California area. Projects included, multi- tenant office buildings, apartments, restaurants, and government facilities.  

In the mid 90’s, Tom founded Olympic Stone, a premier granite countertop and stone tile fabrication facility with service outlets. Olympic Stone catered to Kitchen and Bath remodeling, combining  state of the art fabrication facilities with retail locations serving three Northern California counties for over ten years.

In 2007, Tom took his skills international, working in Costa Rica as the Construction Director on a 40 Million Dollar beach front resort project consisting of luxury villas and custom homes. Tom also managed the quarrying and fabrication of 25 thousand sq. ft. of custom tiles and slabs for the project.

Tom subsequently returned to Northern California and has been serving local communities with all their construction needs. including, 3000 to 10000 sq. ft. custom homes, multiple remodels with expertise in 2nd story additions, and tenant improvement buildouts for landlords including Starbuck’s.
